Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you have booked an appointment within the last 14 days, you have the right to a full refund if you change your mind and wish to cancel. The only exception to this is if the appointment is due to take place within the next 24 hours of you wishing to cancel. Cancellation of appointments within 12 hours of the session will incur a fee of 50% of the full session price. Missed appointments without notice are charged at 100% of the full session price.

To cancel your appointment, please contact me via email (ben@benhoughtontherapies.com) or via text (07353173298). Please start your message with "CANCELLATION". Alternatively, please download the below Model Cancellation Form and fill it out, returning it to me via email or post (8 School Avenue, Coxhoe, Durham, DH6 4EB).

​Please note that I reserve the right to cancel an appointment if I believe that the client is under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol or similarly if any contraindicators for treatment emerge. In any such event, I will refund the full cost of the session, but reserve the right to cancel without offering an explanation. In most cases, I will make every effort to explain my reasoning and to suggest alternative professionals that the client may benefit from consulting.
